Privacy Policy
Cooldown is built to know as little about you as possible. Free scans are anonymous. Accounts exist so the service can email you. This page lists everything the service processes and everything it never holds.
01 — WHAT THE SERVICE PROCESSES
- Wallet addresses submitted for scanning — public, pseudonymous exchange identifiers.
- Publicly available exchange data associated with those addresses (fills, positions, realized PnL), retrieved from public Hyperliquid APIs.
- For accounts: your email address, and which wallets you have added or armed for monitoring.
- Operational data: IP addresses for rate-limiting and abuse control, and standard server logs.
02 — WHAT THE SERVICE NEVER HOLDS
- Private keys, seed phrases, or wallet-connect sessions — scans need only a pasted address.
- Funds. The service is non-custodial and executes nothing.
- Payment card details — payment is processed entirely by our merchant of record.
- Names, profiles, or any identity data beyond the account email.
03 — PUBLIC EXCHANGE DATA
Trading reports are computed from records the exchange already publishes for every wallet. Cooldown does not make this data public — it already is. Assembled reports are cached for up to 24 hours to serve repeat scans; monitored wallets’ session records are retained while monitoring is armed.
04 — HOW DATA IS USED
To produce the reports you request, to send account email — the sign-in link you ask for and, for subscribers, the weekly review — and to keep the service functioning (rate limits, abuse control). Cooldown does not use your data for advertising, does not profile you beyond the trading reports you request, and does not disclose personal data to third parties in exchange for payment.
05 — SERVICE PROVIDERS
The service runs on infrastructure providers who process data on Cooldown’s behalf:
- hosting and compute (Vercel), database and cache infrastructure,
- email delivery (Resend) — your address and the message content pass through it,
- the merchant of record, for subscription billing — it is the controller of the payment data it collects at checkout.
06 — RETENTION AND DELETION
Scan caches expire within 24 hours. Account records persist until you delete the account. Email hello@cooldown.trade from your account address to delete your account and its monitoring history; deletion completes within 30 days.
07 — YOUR RIGHTS
You can request a copy of the personal data held about you, correct it, or have it deleted, by emailing hello@cooldown.trade. Depending on where you live, additional statutory rights may apply; requests are honored regardless of jurisdiction.
08 — CHANGES
Changes to this policy will be posted here with an updated effective date.
